Ticino QBP, 16 June 2009

The QBP was well attended on a beautiful evening by just under 50 members, their guests and a few British members of other clubs in Ticino. We were honoured to have our Honorary Vice Consul, Peter Steimle, and wife, Ursula, with us for the evening. Peter proposed the Loyal Toast and we all raised our glasses to The Queen. It was good also to have our Vice Chairman, Nigel Coombs, and his wife, Rose-Marie, at our event again this year. Everyone appreciates the effort involved in visiting us in Ticino. The evening continued until after 23.00 with 27 people staying on for an informal dinner outside on the terrace overlooking the lake.
