Twenty-three of us met for drinks and lunch on a warm, sunny day on the terrace of a local restaurant, the Osteria Gallo D’Oro. Sadly, on the day three members who usually attend our events went down with feverish colds. They were greatly missed. The rest of us enjoyed a delicious lunch outside. We were all delighted to welcome Michael Type who had driven over by car from the Geneva area. He encouraged each of us to become more active. This made some members vow to make more effort, in the future, to attend events in other parts of Switzerland. There is a project to get a small group together to come to an event next year, possibly the AGM, if it is held in Berne.
