| The ‘aperitivo’ was well-attended and we were honoured to have Peter Steimle, our Consular Warden, and his wife Ursula with us. We were also able to welcome three people who were in the process of becoming BRA members. Once again, Big Ben Club members had been invited to join us.for the event. Unfortunately the book in English on the Ticino had not come back from the printers so the author, who is hoping to become a BRA member was not able to present his book. It was appreciated that the Olimpia, where the aperitivo took place, is very central and easily reached by train, the funicular and bus as the bus station is close by. |
