| This is something for stay at homes or non-skiers. From the station there are footpaths beside the canal to the lake and then West Side before starting up the hill towards Burgwies. This easy, ice free walk is on cleared paths with not much of an incline. You just need comfortable shoes. It could be continued up the Wehrenbachtobel for the energetic. This could be part of a 3 or 4 section walk to Rapperswil. Needless to say there are restaurants en route and the 11 tram will take you back to the main station. |
